Vera Sharav escaped the concentration camps as a small child, then refused to get on a boat with orphan children. Her instinct saved her life, as the boat was torpedoed- there were no survivors. Those same instincts, combined with intelligence, spirit, and incredible bravery, may now save all our lives.
